Hi, my name is Beverly Mital and I started Guardian Family Care, Inc. in 1994 with (3) employees.

I want to share with you why I started GFC. In 1991 I quit a full-time job to take care of my husbands ailing elderly parents. They wanted to stay at home where they felt secure and in control of their own lives. It was not easy because they need me 7 days a week, for several hours a day. During this time I was also taking care of my husband and children. As much as I wanted to do it all, I just couldn't., it was exhausting! After calling around to find some respite help, I discovered there wasn't any. It was at that time that I decided there was a great need for a wider variety of elder care options.

After they passed on I decided to start an agency that would provide the kinds of services I wished had been available to them and to me. I started out providing care for others with myself, my mother and a friend. We provided excellent service and because of that it turned into a business. I only hired people that wanted to provide the same level of compassionate care. It was, and still is, important to me to hire Care Providers that have the same passion and vision as I do...to give the best for each and every person they care for.
